My passion for health and fitness, coupled with my teaching background led me to becoming a personal trainer.

I try to create a training environment that not only motivates but empowers others to continually challenge themselves in fun and rewarding ways. A favorite quote of mine is “Don’t just live the length of your life-live the width as well. “
Training enables you to improve how you live, how you feel and to enjoy all types of movement such as skiing, hiking or any other sporting activity.
In the past I was a distance trail runner. I also competed in functional fitness competitions. I was the 2015 Scaled Crossfit Open Winner in the 45-49 South Central Region and 12th Worldwide. After the Open, I switched to Powerlifting. I hold state, national and world records in the USPA Federation and state records in the USAPL Federation.
